NEW YORK - Nov. 2, 2025 - PRLog -- Teachers and parents now have access to a new set of free, printable bingo cards designed to help Grade 1 students explore basic science concepts through interactive activities.

The collection includes four themed sets aligned with early science learning standards: Each set is intended for classroom or home use and provides an adaptable format that integrates play-based learning into science instruction.

"We wanted to make it easier for teachers to include interactive elements in early science lessons," said a spokesperson for BCF, the developer of the resources. "The bingo structure helps students review essential topics in a way that keeps them involved and curious."

Research in education has shown that game-based learning can support student engagement and understanding. Studies cited by BCF include:
  • Effect of Bingo Game Instructional Strategy on Pupils' Achievement in Mathematics in Public Primary Schools – Tella, A., & Fatoki, F. M. (2021) – JISTE, 25(1)
  • Bingo Game Approach on the Students' Performance in Biology – Ramo, J. C. (2021) – IJTSRD, 5(4), 295–301
  • Effect of Digital Game-Based Learning on Student Engagement and Motivation – Nadeem, M., Oroszlanyova, M., & Farag, W. (2023) – Computers, 12(9), 177
The sets are available for free download on the BCF website and can be printed for immediate use.
