A leader in AI-driven energy innovation NextNRG, Inc. (NASDAQ: NXXT), reported second quarter 2025 results showcasing record-breaking growth, driven by its integrated platform spanning a Utility Operating System, smart microgrid technology, wireless EV charging, and on-demand mobile fuel delivery.

Revenue for Q2 2025 climbed 166% year-over-year to $19.7 million, compared to $7.4 million in Q2 2024. Gross profit rose 189% to $1.6 million. The company posted a net loss of $36.1 million, largely due to a $25.5 million non-cash stock-based compensation charge tied to the launch of a new employee and consultant incentive program aimed at retaining top talent. Excluding this charge, operational performance showed ongoing improvement.

CEO Michael D. Farkas credited the results to strong demand, record-setting fuel volumes, and successful multi-state expansion. “We delivered another exceptional quarter with 166% revenue growth, demonstrating the power of our integrated energy platform and the strong market demand for our solutions,” he said. “We’re also advancing our smart microgrid deployments and wireless EV charging programs toward commercial launch.”

Q2 2025 Operational Milestones

Strategic Partnership: Teamed with Hudson Sustainable Group, a $13 billion renewable energy investor, to accelerate U.S. infrastructure buildout and secure priority access to capital for solar, battery, microgrid, and wireless EV charging projects.

Market Expansion: Entered the Oklahoma market—its seventh state—via a long-term agreement with one of the nation’s largest in-house fleet operators.

Enterprise Growth: Expanded fueling services to Sunbelt Rentals in Texas, introducing a custom fleet portal and enhancing direct-to-asset delivery.

Post-Quarter Achievements

Financial Restructuring: Reduced monthly cash burn by about $1 million through debt conversion and refinancing.

Record Monthly Revenue: July 2025 revenue reached $8.19 million, up 236% year-over-year, marking the seventh consecutive record month and the first above $8 million.

Advisory Board Launch: Appointed global logistics leader Gary M. Goldfarb as Chairman of the newly formed Strategic Advisory Board to guide commercial and industrial facility expansion.

Looking ahead, NextNRG is scaling its “Energy Intelligence Grid” through three revenue streams:

Utility Operating System & Smart Microgrids – Deploying AI-driven grid management and battery/solar systems via SaaS and PPAs.

Wireless EV Charging – Moving from R&D to commercial pilots for heavy equipment and fleet operations.

Mobile Energy Logistics – Expanding sector coverage with centralized scheduling and site-level optimization.
