Semiconductor giant Nvidia (NASDAQ: NVDA) is reportedly planning to invest between $500 million and $1 billion in Poolside , a company specializing in AI models for software development, according to Bloomberg. This funding would contribute to Poolside’s $2 billion fundraising round, which values the company at $12 billion.
The investment could reach $1 billion if Poolside successfully completes the remainder of its funding round, Bloomberg noted.
This isn’t Nvidia’s first involvement with Poolside. The tech giant previously participated in Poolside’s $500 million Series B round in October 2024.
Known for its active investments in AI startups, Nvidia has been expanding its portfolio across various sectors. For instance, the company recently explored a $500 million investment in U.K.-based self-driving startup Wayve. Additionally, Nvidia made headlines last month with a $5 billion stake in Intel, aimed at future chip collaboration.
Poolside is an AI company dedicated to building advanced, full-stack solutions designed to revolutionize software development. The company develops proprietary large language models and specialized engineering tools that empower developers and streamline complex coding tasks.
