How The KCHN Tattoos Matches Every Client With the Right Specialist Artist
Scarborough, Canada - October 30, 2026 / The KCHN Tattoos /
The KCHN Tattoos, a black and grey realism and fine line studio at 240 Alton Towers Circle in Scarborough, Ontario, has launched a new website at thekchntattoos.ca. The site is built around the studio's four resident artists, giving clients in Scarborough, Markham and across the Greater Toronto Area a clear way to compare each artist's specialty and portfolio before booking a complimentary consultation.
The redesign reflects how the studio has always worked. Owner and head artist Kevin Chen founded KCHN on the idea that a tattoo turns out best when it goes to the artist who has mastered that style, rather than to whoever happens to be free that day. The new site makes that idea easy to act on, with a profile for each member of the team, a portfolio that can be filtered by style, and a consultation form that takes less than a minute to complete and is matched to the right specialist.
"Every artist here works in the style they have mastered, and that is the reason our healed work looks the way it does," said Kevin Chen, owner and head artist at The KCHN Tattoos. "Realism, fine line and blackwork each take years to get right. The new site shows clients exactly who on our team specializes in the style they want, so the conversation starts with the right person from day one."
Four Artists, Four Specialties
Kevin Chen has spent 14 years in black and grey realism and leads the studio's custom realism tattoos, which draw clients from Markham, Pickering and Malvern as well as Scarborough. His portraits, wildlife and mythology pieces are known for photographic depth and soft gradients that hold up as they heal.
Tracy brings more than five years of experience in fine line work and custom lettering, from elegant script and names to delicate single-needle illustration. For anyone looking for a fine line tattoo artist in the Toronto area, she offers a dedicated specialist in a style many studios treat as a side service.
YB and Justin each bring three years of focused work in black and grey realism and blackwork. YB's strength is contrast, using deep shading and confident black to give portraits and bold blackwork a dramatic presence, while Justin pairs realistic detail with a strong eye for composition, turning a client's reference into a balanced piece that is built to last.
Together, the team brings more than 25 years of combined experience. Each artist's profile, Instagram and recent work can be found on the studio's Meet the Artists page.
What Clients Can Expect
Every custom tattoo begins with a free consultation covering the idea, size, placement and references. The artist then sketches and refines the design with the client and provides a clear quote before a session is booked. For smaller pieces, the studio welcomes walk-ins and flash designs, often on the same day when an artist is available, and it is open seven days a week from 10 am to 6 pm.
Sessions follow clinical hygiene standards, with single-use needles and cartridges opened in front of the client, barrier film on every touch point and sanitized surfaces throughout. Each client leaves with written aftercare instructions, and the team reviews healed tattoos to plan any touch-ups. Clients with reactive skin can also turn to the studio's guide to the best tattoo aftercare products for sensitive skin, one of the most-read resources on the site.
