Monumental Sports & Entertainment (MSE) has announced a groundbreaking partnership with Vanda Pharmaceuticals Inc. (Nasdaq: VNDA), a globally recognized biopharmaceutical company headquartered in Washington, D.C. This multiyear agreement positions Vanda as a Founding Partner for MSE’s next-generation downtown arena, further solidifying its commitment to innovation, community, and sports.
A key highlight of the partnership is Vanda’s exclusive entitlement of the state-of-the-art Monumental Sports Network (MNMT) studio, now officially named the Vanda Pharmaceuticals Studio. This cutting-edge facility serves as the hub for pre- and post-game coverage, original content, and storytelling across MSE’s portfolio, which includes the Washington Capitals (NHL), Washington Wizards (NBA), and Washington Mystics (WNBA).
This collaboration marks Vanda’s second major partnership with MSE, following its earlier role as the marquee jersey patch sponsor for the Washington Mystics. Vanda now joins United Airlines as a Founding Partner of the transformative Capital One Arena project, a world-class sports and entertainment destination in the heart of Washington, D.C.

Opened in March 2024, the Vanda Pharmaceuticals Studio is a cornerstone of MNMT’s two-story, SMPTE 2110-certified facility, one of the most advanced regional media environments in the country. The studio features two fully equipped sets that can merge into a single national telecast-caliber set, 24 cameras, 1,200 square feet of 4K LED displays, and cutting-edge robotics. This facility is designed to deliver unparalleled sports coverage and storytelling, distributed across cable, streaming, and social platforms to millions of fans in the DMV region and beyond.
